One unique moment came midway down the hillside. A mature tree held an important place for the homeowners, and its roots extended toward the intended walkway alignment. Instead of forcing a straight line, we expanded and softened the path in this section.
That gentle widening created a natural pause in the descent and provided a graceful curve that still felt unified with the rest of the walkway.
